INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
• Pull the filter straight out and discard
• Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
• Twist the filter a quarter-turn clockwise
• Swing the plastic filter cover up until it snaps closed
• Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one)

FILTER LIFE

The manufacturer recommends the filters should be changed every 6 months, as routine replacement guards against  sediment buildup in the fridge's ice and water dispensers.

Suitable for: The EcoAqua MWF cartridge is suitable for use in GE refrigerators with a round white plastic filter, found mounted inside the refrigerator at the rear of the compartment above the top shelf.

This filter replaces: The EcoAqua MWF Fridge Filter replaces these older filter part numbers - GE SmartWater GWF, GWFA, GWF01, GWF06 and MWFA, MWF-2, WSG-1, and Puretec Model Number R10. Also a quality replacement for Stefani fridge filter SGF-G1.

Filter Life: Refrigerator manufacturers recommend that fridge filters be replaced every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on.  Routine replacement helps ensure that your ice & water dispensers  won't need costly servicing due to sediment buildup.

About the EFF-6023A: This EcoAqua GSWF fridge filter is fully NSF certified (NSF/ANSI 42 and 372).  NSF International guidelines impose strict adherence to manufacturing and testing standards which ensure a high quality end product. This filter has a 1 micron rating.
